This play really concerns itself with danger patrols of the heart and the broken sensibilities that keep us away from where we all actually want to be........ somewhere completely free ...... that is completely, immorally, and coquettishly absent .... absent or detached from all the limits of time, space, place, and personal culture (or maybe thats just what i want)
The Dialogue in the play is mainly about social sensibilities, conscious and subconscious desires and the pesky problem of having to deal with the problem of another mind in order to find happiness. ( the Socratic critique rears its ugly face again)
The Play can also be seen as a discussion between the jihadist of the heart or the male lead) and the American Family, however dysfunctional (the female lead).
The Ending was pretty good, a reverse of existentialism where life with meaning, however artificial you would like to argue, is more like a death of happiness. While life without traditional value is a freedom. i smell a critique here ....it smells like mouthcash and truthpaste and has Roe vs. Wade written all over it.
P.S. i prefer to use the lower case "I" becuase it looks like a little person. Holler!!!!!
